The Elementary at the St. Paul Campus will
focus on the spiritual, developmental, social and academic needs of
children in grades 1 through 6. The focus during these formative years
is to give the children a solid educational basis, as well as the
critical first steps of their Catholic Faith. It is during these years
that they will experience First Holy Communion, First Reconciliation,
and begin to develop morals and values that will last a lifetime. The
vision is to pursue continued expansion of opportunities to include such
programs as: Accelerated Reading/Math, "Family Groups", Power of Pen,
Math Counts, Academic Challenge, and Odyssey of the Mind. Enhanced
offerings of foreign language at the elementary levels
creates a strong foundation for vocabulary and future language
studies. We will continue to have access to special education services (remedial help
and gifted classes) in order to help students requiring such
assistance, or for students who may not be challenged by the
standard curriculum. These services can be accessed through the
Norwalk City School System. The addition of the Before and After
School Care Program at the St. Mary Campus will offer the
elementary students enrichment activities, homework tutors, a safe
environment, and support for future growth.
