Menu for next week: Cook’s (that’s you!) choice
1. SHOP News: Effective June 9th,
all orders must be dropped off/picked up at either St. Mary or St. Paul parish offices. Please do not
drop orders off at the school offices. Summer order schedule: June 9, 23; July 7,
21; Aug. 4, 18. Weekly orders will
resume September 2.
2. From Carol Fries: Community Roof
Project: Thanks
to everyone who participated in the fundraiser at Jim’s Pizza Box. We
were able to raise $250. But, we are only half way to our goal of raising
$7000. The volunteers will not begin work on the family’s home until all
of the money is raised. Have you given yet? Please consider making
a donation! If we receive more money than needed, it will just roll over
to the next project. Checks should be made out to St. Paul’s Church/Roof Project. You
can mail your donation to St. Paul’s, 91 East Main or St. Mary’s Church, 38 West League. Thank you for your help.
3. ACADEMIC BOOSTERS: An organizational meeting to explore the start of an
Academic Boosters Club will be held on Monday June 9th at 6:00 pm in Mr Klimaski's office. This is open to all NCS parents and staff. Please plan to attend .
4. Grade cards will be mailed out at the end of next week. Schedules for next year will be mailed out
later in the summer.
5. SPARK YOUTH NIGHT: Please
remember that this Sunday (June 8) is our next Youth Nite. We are honoring our fathers (for Father’s
Day) by having a corn hole tournament in the
Convocation parking lot (Monroe St. gym if it rains).
Bring your dad (or a suitable stand-in) and see if the youth can redeem
themselves from the crushing defeat their mothers place on them last month.
6. The HS/JR HI OFFICE will be open all summer except for the two week period
from July 4-18. Office hours: 7 AM – 3 PM.
LOST AND FOUND: We have quite a bit of clothing (shirts,
shoes, winter coats, hoodies, etc.) that was left in
lockers. We will keep it on hand until
June 13.
